Since its inception, Google Tasks became the default task list for many of us, regardless of its lack of functionality of being anything other than just a list. However, slowly but surely, the guys from Mountain View have been seeping new features into the task manager.
You can now create a task from an email, set a due date for a task so it appears on your Google Calendar, and even mail an entire list.
Now, wouldn’t it be nice if we could have it appear in the Firefox Sidebar?

Google Tasks in the Firefox Sidebar
Create a new bookmark in your bookmarks bar. Call it what you like, but select the “Load this bookmark in the sidebar” option. In the location field, use one of the following links:
For GMail Tasks:
https://mail.google.com/tasks/ig?pli=1
For GoogleApps users (replace your-domain with your actual domain):
https://mail.google.com/tasks/a/your-domain/ig?pli=1
Enjoy!
By the way, for all you lazy ones, you can try the following Firefox addon, that simplifies the whole process. Note, there is no Google Apps support for this addon at the time of writing.
